I, MICHAEL R. MAGASIN, declare as follows:

1. I am an attorney at law, duly licensed and authorized to practice law before all of the Courts of the State of California. In addition, I am also admitted to practice before the United States District Court, Central District and the United States Supreme Court. I am a principal in the law firm of Lenske, Lenske, Heller & Magasin, A Law Corporation ("Lenske, Lenske, Heller & Magasin" hereinafter).

2. I received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Los Angeles and a Juris Doctor from the School of Law, University of California, Los Angeles in 1968.

3. In early 1981, Lenske, Lenske, Heller & Magasin was retained to represent the L. Ron Hubbard.

4. In the afternoon of May 18, 1983 I received a typed letter with handwriting and signature of L. Ron Hubbard. It consists of seven (7) pages and is titled "Declaration of L. Ron Hubbard" (referred to hereinafter as "Document"). Each page appears to have fingerprints and initials upon it. Page six has a signature and handwritten date. Page seven has a handwritten statement. A copy of this Document, in the condition I received it, is attached hereto as Exhibit "1".

5. On the same date I received the Document, I presented it for evaluation to William L. Bowman at my offices located at 6400 Canoga Avenue, Suite 315, Woodland Hills, California 91367. He conducted his examination in my presence,

and after he was finished, signed an affidavit stating his conclusions.

6. Also on the same date as I received the Document, and after William L. Bowman stated he had finished his examination, I presented the same Document to Donald Keir who was also present at my offices. Mr. Keir conducted his examination in my presence and, after stating he was finished, signed an affidavit setting forth his conclusions.

7. I then took possession of the Document and secured it.

8. I have first-hand personal knowledge of all of the facts stated in this declaration and if called as a witness I could and would testify competently to them under oath.

I declare under penalty of perjury that the foregoing is true and correct.
